Def Leppard

Def Leppard

With hits like “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph” and “Love Bites,” Def Leppard has thrilled audiences for over two decades. They recently released their 14th album, “Songs from the Sparkle Lounge,” which includes the new hit single, “Nine Lives,” a collaboration with country music superstar Tim McGraw.

Formed in 1977 in Sheffield (UK), Def Leppard hit overwhelming success with their third album, “Pyromania,” which was released in 1983 and contained the popular single, “Photograph.” Sales in the United States hit 100,000 a week for most of the year and ended up selling over seven million copies in this country alone.

"Hysteria," released in 1987, featured seven singles: "Women," "Animal," "Pour Some Sugar On Me," "Love Bites," "Armageddon It," "Hysteria" and "Rocket." The album went on to sell 16 million copies (including 12 million in the United States alone).

The band earned a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1995 for playing shows on three continents in one day. Starting at midnight in a cave in Tangiers, Morocco, they played an acoustic set, flew to London, England to play at midday and finally ended in Vancouver, Canada for yet another show at 9:30 p.m. In total they traveled 5,845 miles in the day.

Everclear

Everclear

Multi-platinum rock band Everclear exploded into the rock music industry in 1992 performing hard-hitting rock melodies like “Wonderful,” “Heartspark Dollarsign” and “I Will Buy You a New Life.” Following the production of two platinum albums and one double-platinum album, Billboard dubbed them Modern Rock Artist of the Year for 1998, forever canonizing them among the rock ‘n’ roll greats.

Formed in Portland, Oregon, Everclear signed its first major record deal in 1994. Their first hit single, “Santa Monica” spent three weeks at number one on Billboard’s US Mainstream Rock Chart, resulting in the band’s first platinum album. Their next album enjoyed double platinum success with the songs “Everything to Everyone” and “Father of Mine.” After going separate ways in the late 90s, the band reunited in 2004.

With new members and new songs, the band’s instantly recognizable sound continues to entertain audiences across the country. Currently, the band is promoting the release of their seventh album, “The Vegas Years,” a dynamic and eclectic array of cover song favorites marking the success of the last fifteen years. Everclear continues to enjoy widespread success and critical acclaim for their intensely original and creative style.
